Refund and cancellation policy
How to cancel, what happens to the month you already paid for, and when you get money back. It covers Recepción, the care plan and the websites we build.
Cancelling Recepción
Any time, for any reason or none, from your account or by writing to hola@borinkenlabs.com. There is no contract length and no cancellation fee.
Recepción keeps answering until the end of the month you already paid for, and your card is not charged again. We do not refund part of a month.
During a free first month, cancelling costs nothing and charges nothing.
After it ends you can export your customer book and your messages for thirty days. Then we delete them.
Cancelling Promociones
The same as Recepción: any time, no fee, and it runs to the end of the month you already paid for. We do not refund part of a month.
Your list stays yours. Export it before the month ends, or ask us and we send it to you.
If the carriers refuse your registration, you pay nothing for Promociones and anything you already paid for it comes back in full. That is on us, not on you.
Cancelling the care plan
You can cancel it at any time, and it ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. The site is yours: we hand you the files and the domain, and stop hosting and updating it.
When it ends, the site stays yours. We hand over the hosting and you take over its bills.
Websites
Before we start work: everything you paid comes back.
Once we have visited and started writing, designing or building: the deposit is not refundable, and everything we have written and designed for you up to that point is yours to keep.
After the site is live: no refund. The work is done and the site is yours.
When we refund without a discussion
A charge you did not agree to.
A month in which Recepción was down for more than eight hours because of us — that month back, as a credit or a refund, your choice.
Something we promised in writing and did not deliver.
How a refund works
Write to hola@borinkenlabs.com, or message us on WhatsApp. We answer within one business day.
We send the refund within five business days, to the card you paid with. Your bank then takes five to ten business days to show it. We cannot refund to a different card, or in cash.
Founding prices and free months
A founding price holds for twelve months while your plan runs. If you cancel and come back later, the list price applies.
A free first month is one per business.
